Meet better packaging, that isn't destroying the Earth

Environmental responsibility is important to us, and that is why we don't use plastic at all. A whopping 77% of supplement packaging is plastic 1. The supplement industry is a longtime major contributor to single use plastic, and at Bisa we simply want no part in that.

We don't use post consumer recycled plastic either because we refuse to go along with the illusion that we can recycle our way out of the plastic problem. The sad truth is we really can't, and it's been *secretly* known for a while2.

At Bisa we are completely divesting from the single use plastics.

plastic paper pill bottles

Our pills are packaged in paper tubes made from sustainably sourced wood pulp. These tubes can be reused, or they can be recycled curbside so that the material can be reused again without anything going to waste.

The ink on these tubes is even made from soy, which is more eco-friendly option compared what many other inks are typically made of, petroleum.

plastic compostable pouches

The pouches our protein powder comes in can be composted in either at-home or commercial compost.
